- Changing the Main Menu FILE: AM.HLP
-
- After you have worked with DBK for awhile, you might wish to
- activate the Advanced Menu. The only thing that is advanced about
- it is that it uses less words in each option description. Reports
- will also contain fewer explan-ations at the bottom of each page
- Give it a try and see what you think.
-
- To activate this menu, a small single character file is created on
- the boot disk. The filename is ABILITY.DEF. To create the file,
- use a text editor or the DOS command COPY.
-
- ie. A>COPY CON: ABILITY.DEF <RETURN>
- A <RETURN>
- ^Z <RETURN>
-
- This will write a single A into the file called ABILITY.DEF. When
- DBK is booted, this A will flag DBK to use the Advanced Menu. If
- no file is pre- ent or if anyother character is in this file, DBK
- will use the standard Main Menu.
-
- If, after viewing the Advance Menu, you wish to return to the old
- one, just delete ABILITY.DEF with the Utility option.
